2020 Kia Soul
The Kia Soul is redesigned for 2020 and is now a graceful, controlled ride, which is perfect for drivers in the city. A turbocharged engine and optimal seating show that Kia has invested equal time in the car's interiors and exterior. The only drawback of the Soul is that it does not have an all-wheel-drive; it could be passed over by people living in rough weather conditions.
The base model of the Kia Soul includes 16-inch steel wheels, height-adjustable driver's seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, and rear privacy glass. The car's infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 7-inch touchscreen, and a six-speaker audio system. The safety features include start hill assist and a rearview camera. The LX CVT automatic includes additions such as a start-stop mechanic, remote unlocking and locking, and storage under the armrest.
The Soul S includes alloy wheels and advanced safety features such as lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitor, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and a drowsy driver warning system.
The rugged X-Line model has 18-inch wheels, foglights, exterior body cladding, roof rails, and foglights with the features of LX. Where it lacks, however, is in the safety features provided by S. The X-Line only has a rear cross-traffic alert and the blind-spot monitor.
The sporty trim of the 2020 Kia Soul includes gloss-black mirrors and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with all the features mentioned above. The GT-Line Sunroof package gets you a sunroof, wireless charging pad, and keyless entry.
The EX trim has improved headlights with LED daytime running lights, heated mirrors and front seats, foglights, two USB ports, keyless entry, rear headrests and armrests, and a removable cargo floor and cover. The infotainment system of EX includes satellite and HD radio, a 10.3-inch screen, and an inbuilt voice-recognition and navigation system.
The GT-Line Turbo includes optimal looks and a turbocharged engine with the EX's features. It has 18-inch wheels, LED exterior and interior lighting, chrome exhaust, and a sunroof. The car also has a 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The safety features of the GT-Line include adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and pedestrian detection.
Most variants of the 2020 Kia Soul have a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine delivering 132 lb-ft torque and 147 horsepower. The CVT automatic is standard on all models except the LX. The GT-Line also has a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with a dual-clutch auto transmission that gives 195 lb-ft of torque and 201 horsepower.
